Guidelines for Using Passbolt​

  1. Confidentiality: Never share your passwords. Your credentials are your responsibility.
  2. Exclusive Use: Store all passwords only in Passbolt; do NOT use other platforms or write them down.
  3. Access Control: Grant access only to authorized personnel and regularly review permissions.
  4. Password Generation: Use Passbolt’s built-in generator to create strong, unique passwords.
  5. Regular Updates: Update your passwords periodically to maintain security.

Getting Started with Passbolt​

  1. Account Setup: Follow the invitation email instructions to create your account.
  2. Browser Extension: Install the Passbolt extension for your preferred browser.
  3. Login: Access Passbolt via the provided URL using your credentials.
  4. Import Passwords: Use the import feature to consolidate existing credentials if needed.
